Photos from “The Rejection Show” at UCB

Sunday, January 24th, 2010

“Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” writer Jon Friedman hosts a show at UCB once a month called “The Rejection Show” where people talk about professional and personal rejections in their past.  I was delighted to go share my most embarrassing story EVER about a college tryst that went horribly awry.

My favorite was at a gallery called LeBasse Projects.  There were two artists showing there new work from Andrew Helm in the main gallery, and the fabulous Rebecca Artemisa Urias in the Project Room.  I could have taken all of her art home with me!

Puppet Pirate Rock Odyssey!

Monday, January 11th, 2010

Just saw Jollyship the Whiz-Bang a Puppet Pirate Rock Odyssey at The Under The Radar Festival at The Public Theater.  It follows the adventure of a horny, alcoholic Pirate who desperately wants to get to Party Island!  Here! Here! I have wanted to  see this show since it’s sold out run at Ars Nova  Theater in 2008, and was so excited to finally get a chance to see it.  They even have a CD coming out!

Had a blast doing “Wards of Merkin” in Brooklyn Friday Night.

Sunday, January 10th, 2010

It is  a pleasure to perform with my buddy Bobby Tisdale.  His show “Wards of Merkin” at Word Bookstore in Brooklyn is always packed.  Colin Quinn, Janeane Garafolo, Leo Allen and Brooke Van Poppelen performed and were hilarious.
